stuff i love: instagram!

If you know me at all, you know that I completely adore my iPhone and all the great little apps that I can download. Photo-based apps are by far my favorite and at the top of my list is Instagram. To say I’ve become a little obsessed would be putting it lightly.

Instagram is a super-fun way to share pictures with friends/the entire community of Instagram users, with a bunch of cool filters at your disposal to pretty up your snapshots. (A quick look around my blog will show you that the majority of my pictures are courtesy of Instagram.)

All you have to do is take a picture, choose a filter, tag and upload. It gets addictive pretty quickly. I pretty much can’t wait until the warm weather kicks in, because I’m sure all I’ll be doing is running around outside taking pictures.

And thanks to the folks over at Photojojo, I now know about the other great ways to use Instagram, including:

There are a bunch of great, easy ways to manage your pictures online. Right now, I’m using Instagrid to turn my photostream into a web gallery. I think it’s a great way to share my pictures with my non-Instagram using friends.

I also completely love the idea of turning my pictures into stickers with Instagoodies! All you have to do is sign in with your account, and you can create a book of 90 1 inch stickers for only $14.

Another little investment I totally see myself making in the future is framing my Instagram prints with hatchcraft; they take pictures and frame them in handmade bamboo shadow boxes for you. It would be such a great way to decorate my apartment.

There are a bunch of great ways to use this photo app, and if you don’t use it now, I suggest you try it out. :)
